UNITY OF THE UMMAH: Where does it start?

Posted October 2nd, 2010 by admin and filed in General, Monthly talks

Coming this October: Whenever you see troubles around the Muslim World or in your local area, you always hear the cries from Muslims that there is lack of unity amongst us. The usual slogan “what we need is unity”.

But before we jump onto the bandwagon of unity, have we ever pondered on what unity truly means and have we played our part in that before complaining that there is a lack of unity?

This Sunday talk will focus on the importance of unity, where should it start and what roles do we play as an individual. The talk will also cover what we can achieve when we have unity and what are the consequences of not having unity both from a worldly and Islamic point of view. So do not miss this important talk due to take place this Sunday 3rd of October at the quad (4:30pm).

If you have a question for the speaker you may email it in advance to: sundaytalkquestions@companionsofthemosque.com no later than 6pm Saturday. Your name will not be mentioned and if the speaker doesn’t get it covered during the talk then it will be answered during the Q&A session as a priority.
