We are pleased to announce that Companions of the Mosque will be organising the community Eid gathering for this Sunday at the Quad.

Following on from the success of the Eid in the Park in Sutton, this event will take place indoors at the Quad in Carshalton. The gathering will take place from 9:30am with the Eid Salah starting at 10:00am sharp.

We encourage everyone to attend as this will be a family gathering to spend Eid together as a community. Segregation will be observed at all times. The sisters will be organising lots of activities for the kids to make this day a memorable event Insha-Allah. There will lots of snacks and drinks (including teas and coffees) Insha-Allah. There will also be goody bags for the kids as well as henna and face painting.

Here is the summary agenda of the day:

08:00am Setup
09:30am arrival
10:00am Eid Salah followed by a short Khutbah
10:40am Family get-together starts with food & activities
1:00pm Dhur Salah
1:15pm Continue with the gathering (tug of war competition as held in the park)
2:00pm Packing begins followed by Asr salah and leave

(9:30am arrival for 10:00am Salah SHARP)

2. Help with the clean up after the event
3. Manage the parking and ensuring the safety of the event
4. Experience sisters required to Help with the face painting and henna painting
5. Providing food and drinks – preparing a dish
6. Serving food and drinks
7. Financial contribution
