Arrival time

Please ensure that your children arrive at Thomas Wall Centre before 10.25am in order that their class can start on time.

Children who arrive late cause a big disruption to the classes. For this reason we have decided to impose £5.00 fine, per child.

Children also need to be collected promptly at 1.15pm. We encourage all the parents to join us for salah at 1pm.

 

Absence

If your child is going to be absent, please send me a message separately before the class with a reason for absence. Our classes are free but we expect the same rules to apply if your child is late or absent from school. We will impose a £5 fine for unapproved leave.

 

If your child is absent for 3 consecutive sessions or has missed a significant number of classes irrespective if leave has been approved, your child will be removed from the register and if you wish your child return you will have to join the waiting list.

 

What to Bring to School

1. A copy of the Qur’an / Qaidah that they use during reading lessons.

We do not allow children to use a Qur’an on a phone or a tablet, they must being a physical book.

2. Bring a note book and a pen/pencil.

3. A small snack and a drink for the morning break.

Please do not give your child a fizzy drink, crisps or anything that contains nuts with their snacks.

 

Teachers
Alhamdulilah we have maintained the majority of our teachers from last term. We hope in sha’Allah that they continue to be of great benefit and influence to your children.

We will again be re-assessing childrens levels, so your child may be moved to different teachers before we find the right level for them.

Mobile Phones

Please remember that children are not permitted to use mobile phones during lessons. Please remind them of this.
