YESSSSSS…. It’s that time again: Eid Prayers followed by fun for WHOLE the family for the 16th consecutive year. This will be held at Overton Park, Sutton on Sunday 16 June 2024. from 9am till 2pm.
Please arrive by 9.30am to avoid the traffic rush.
FREE PARKING AVAILABLE : The only venue in Sutton with enough FREE parking for you, your family, uncles and aunts!
The Eid takbiraat starts promptly at 10am and the salaah will commence at 10.30am sharp.
This is a picnic event for the entire family: Please bring a picnic food basket to share with your family, a mat to pray on and a foldable chair to sit on. There will be no chairs available.

Hajj Fiqh Seminar 1445
For those going on Hajj this year & for those wanting a concise look into the Fiqh of Hajj.
By will and grace of Allah subhhanahu wa ta’aala , Shaikh Abdullatif will be running a Hajj Seminar
(based on Fiqh of the Qur’an and the Sunnaht)
Who can attend: The session is open to the whole family.
Where: Civic Offices, London Borough of Sutton.
When: Friday 17 May 2024 (9 Thul-qi’da 1445)
What time: 19:30 (7:30 PM)
What do I need to bring?
Please bring your own:
- Notepad and pen.
- Ihraam garment for men, to practice wearing it securely.
We will also be praying Maghrib on the venue so bring your own Pocket Prayermat.
How much does this cost to me?
The course will insha’Allah be supported by COM (Companions Of the Mosque), so it will be free of charge.
Tea coffee and water will be provided – please feel free to bring your favourite biscuits to share!

Eid in the Thomas Wall Centre 1445 (April ’24)

Dear all,
Just to update you all for our Eid Celebrations:
This Eid, we will be holding this in the Thomas Wall Centre, 52 Benhill Ave, Sutton SM1 4DP.
Timings
The first Jamaat will open from 8am (the salaah will be at 8.30am)
The second Jamaat will open from 9.15am (the salaah will be at 9.30am)
Please understand if numbers are high we may need you to attend the next session or another venue.
Parking
There will be NO access to parking on the day at the centre – it will be limited to just volunteers and disable badges users only – please have this available, and will be on a first come basis.
There are parking facilities available on Throwley way – this is 500m or a 3 min walk from the centre.
Drop offs
We intend to restrict drop off on Benhill Avenue. You maybe asked to move on if you park on or near the entrance to the centre on Lenham Road.
Facilities
PLEASE BRING YOUR MATS, it might be useful if you have one to bring an exercise mat, the floor is quite hard!!
There will be chairs available. There are toilets to perform your wuduh , but please come prepared!
When you arrive
This will be a segregated event – please queue from the main entrance – there will be stewards on hand to help. Please do not stand in the parking area.
Eid Salaah
Due to the timings, we will keep the Khutbah to a minimum and ask everyone to exit the halls promptly to allow the next session to start.
Zakat/Fitrana etc.
We will not be accepting any Zakat/fitra etc on the day. Any monies donated will be for the running of Companions of the Mosque.
